Peace Cranes from Highland Elementary School

Hi!
I see that your school is having a birthday very soon. Happy Birthday! My name is Stephanie Smith. I teach fourth grade in Apple Valley, Minnesota, in the United States. Your website is fabulous!
We have had a peace theme in our classroom this year. After we read Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes, my fourth graders were dedicated to make 1,000. We reached our goal yesterday! I was wondering if we could send them to your school so they could be put on the monument. My students would be thrilled! Please let us know.
Thanks,
Stephanie Smith
Hello, Smith-san!

We are pleased to
receive the paper cranes fourth graders folded. The REGULAR MAIL address
is;
Nagatsuka Syougakkou "which means Nagatsuka Elementary School" 4-15-1, Nagatsuka, Asaminami-ku, Hiroshima-shi(731-01), Japan
We are not teaching English at Japanese elementary schools and so, no child can speak English at all. It seems too difficult for the children to write or read. Sorry... (^^;
And, I'm not good at English, so I'm afraid if I can make myself understood well. Thank you for your attention. All the best!
Sincerely,
from June
